Almost a week after the Moscow attack, French intelligence is concerned about a return of mass terrorism in France. This Thursday, Gérald Darmanin will go to the DGSI (French Intelligence) headquarters to discuss the subject with in focus, the issue of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The DGSI’s concern is the possibility of mass terrorism returning to France. Counter-terrorism wants to avoid as much as possible the scenario of a coordinated attack on the day of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, in front of cameras around the world.
Attention focussed on Central Asian nationals
And this will also be, according to information from Europe 1, one of the messages of the DGSI to the Minister of the Interior.
