A Snapchat group of a 4th grade class (ages 9-10) holds the attention of the police of Roanne, in the Loire. According to information from Europe 1, a middle school student member of this group filed a complaint this Monday evening for death threats by beheading received against him from one of his comrades, as well as threats of attack against his school, Jules-Ferry, made by the same young man.
“Aginst a background of Islamist remarks, the author of the messages declared that he wanted to “steal Jules-Ferry”, posted a photo of a handgun and a video with an assault rifle, finally, he targeted the student by showing his intention to “cut off his head”, police sources report.
Also according to information from Europe 1, the perpetrator renamed the Snapchat group “09h30”, which refers to the designated time to commit his actions. The student who filed a complaint also helped the investigators identify the threatening young man.
