PEGIDA Canada was made aware of divisive merchandise being offered by Islamic Relief Canada on their website. Islamic Relief Canada is a registered Canadian charity. We have written them a letter, requesting that they remove the merchandise.

Good morning,
It has come to our attention that IRC was offering a sweatshirt for purchase online. The sweatshirt has the Malcolm X logo printed on the front. The sweatshirt is currently listed as ‘SOLD’.
In January 2019, PEGIDA Canada sent Islamic Relief Canada a media inquiry with Islamic Relief Worldwide bcc’d in the correspondence as well. This inquiry was concerning IRCs possible ties to terrorist entities. In response to our media inquiry, you responded with: “We abhor terrorism in all its forms, and we categorically reject any allegation of links to terrorism and any such accusations that have been made.” Please see reference below

Malcolm X has a history of anti-Jewish and anti-white sentiment. His sympathies with the PLO are well documented.
We understand that IRC has launched the Palestine Emergency Appeal, and according to the website, “Islamic Relief is helping to provide immediate medical assistance and vital aid to all those affected by the violence and most in need.”
Although it is admirable to provide aid to those in need, promoting a political personality with blatantly anti Semitic and anti-white views on your website is contrary to humanitarian principles.
Malcolm X did not promote unity and acceptance, but division and distrust.
