Facebook has been stepping up their attacks on right-wing sites this past year, and Pegida Canada is no exception. Truth be told, they have been attacking our page for the last several years at the prompting of ‘spies’ on our site. Last week, they unpublished our page. Why? Because of a photo, and previous violations. Never mind that the ‘violations’ were challenged and reversed, the black marks remained.
In September of 2020, Facebook contacted our admin, saying we had violated their standards by posting a photo of Chamberlain shaking hands with Hitler. The context of the photo was the appeasement of dictators/tyrants by Western politicians. This post was most likely in response to how our Western leaders are dealing with Iran, the Taliban, or some such other issue. But we will never know, because they have since removed the post. I appealed the removal last September, and guess what? They re-instated the photo. They said they had made the wrong decision. You can see in the screenshot below that it was re instated.
This past February, they once again removed the picture. Three times on the same day. Once again I appealed. The appeal was denied. I am appealing again.
These companies have far too much power. They direct the narrative by who they allow on their platform. Manipulation at it’s finest, in tandem with other main stream media.

The photo in question is showing the problem of Western leaders kowtowing to dangerous individuals. This is a big problem in our world today. Pegida Canada focuses on such content. Our area of specialization is Islamism (this includes but is not restricted to terrorism), Communism, Fascism and Nazism. We have many enemies that would like to see our voice shut down. Speaking out against these isms is necessary in today’s climate. This same photo was removed at some point last year, I appealed your decision , and you re instated it. Removing the photo of Chamberlain and Hitler and the warning that accompanies it is in essence agreeing with Hitler’s madness. I don’t recall the exact context of the post, because you removed it, but I am assuming it had something to do with appeasing a dictatorial regime (Iran, perhaps, or the Taliban) We have seen countless posts by Islamists, calling for the death of individuals, the death of Israel and the Jewish community, the return of the Caliphate, calling for the death of people within our organization, yet these accounts remain active. And rightfully so, as they provide a great deal of intelligence. Pegida Canada has never called for the death of anyone, and we warn against such speech on our page. What Pegida Canada does for the most part is reproduce news articles already out on the internet. Frequently by MSM. We warn, we contact government officials with our concerns. We have been contacted by the RCMP who have decided that we are not a danger to the community. Please re instate the post and our page.

WHY DID YOU POST THIS CONTENT?
I hope they misunderstood. Posting a photo of a tyrant shaking hands with a Western leader is something that we need to be kept aware of and warned about.

Indeed. Fighting against Nazism is one of our prime directives. People need to learn from history.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK THE BOARD SHOULD KNOW?
Our enemies, which include Islamists and Communists have been trying to remove our online presence for years. They have physically injured us when we rally. They have stolen/destroyed our property. They have doxed one of our administration, causing a great deal of trauma for that individual. They will try any means possible to shut us up. In a democracy, it is unacceptable that Facebook bows to their pressure. Please re instate our page.

HOW DID FACEBOOK GET THE DECISION WRONG?
I have already sent in one appeal. I am appealing again. Your decision is unacceptable. My previous case number is FB-H5998455. The reason my page has multiple violations is because of posts that were for the most part reinstated. However, the ‘violation’ marks on the account remained. This is disingenuous at best, boarding on criminal. The photo in question, the one that got the page unpublished, was reinstated on September 14, 2020. I have a screenshot if you are interested in seeing it. On February 27, the photo was removed again. Three times. In one day. Why? Our page must be re-instated. My comments in the original appeal still stand. You have vilified our organization and penalized it without just cause.
