As the world watches the horror that is unfolding in Afghanistan, we are reminded of the great migration that started in 2015. We see thousands of Afghanis desperate to leave the Taliban-ravaged country. What is remarkable, the photos emerging are plane loads of men, photos of men fleeing. Young men. Where are the women? This is exactly what we witnessed in 2015 and beyond.
The desperation of the women and children are obvious, yet they are largely absent from photos. The Taliban has been very forthright in their assessment of women and children and where they rank.
How does this translate to Canada? In the articles below, you can see the views on women within the Islamic community in Canada. We can see the views on sharia punishments, the views on jihad.
The Taliban is barbaric? Canadians should look in their own back yard. PEGIDA Canada has written the Mayor of Toronto and other government officials about this information. It falls on deaf ears. Please take the time to read and share the articles below which reiterate that the Taliban is a radical extension of the Sunnah and many Islamic leaders in Canada follow the Sunnah to a T.
The following is taken from a book given away at the Dawah booth at Dundas square, Toronto, as well as the Muslim Students Associations in our universities.
“Therefore, a divine precautionary measure was established to eliminate any shortcoming on a woman’s part in any case of testimony. We would like to point out here one of the essential principles of the legal and judicial system in Islam, which states that the case is not valid for proceedings if a doubt arises in the case. Therefore, the strength of two female witnesses is intended to eliminate this doubt.”
In other words, a woman’s testimony is worth half of that of a man. This is taught in Canada. Please read the article below.
‘Emotional nature’ of women make them unsuitable for leadership/witness roles, according to Islamic scripture and leaders
Commentary from the same book:
Allah, the Exalted, stated in the Glorious Qur’an: “(… As to those women on whose part you see ill conduct, admonish them (first), (next,) refuse to share their beds, (and last,) beat them (lightly, if it is useful). But if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allah is Most High, Most Great.)” [4:34]

Commentary from a book found online by ICNA Canada
“Another highly important reason for the prohibition of migration of Muslims to Dar-ul-Kufr (Islamic lands) is that it goes against the spirit as well as their readiness for Jihad fi sabilillah (striving and fighting in the way of Allah). This spirit and readiness must be kept always alive so that the Muslims may respond at once to the call of Jihad whenever the need for it arises anywhere.

Commentary from a book found in an online course by Islamic Circle of North America Canada(ICNA):
“Except when justified by law” means that after the acceptance of Islam, if someone commits a crime which is punishable by Hadd this will be certainly imposed on him, or her, i.e., cutting of hand in case of theft, one hundred stripes or stoning to death in case of fornication, capital punishment in retaliation for murdering an innocent person.”
